It’s Spring and all the animals on Maisy’s farm are having babies. Maisy says I can stay for a whole week and help out. There are chicks and ducklings hatching, orphan lambs to feed, and I can’t wait for Bella to have her calf!

My best friend Chelsea and I love animals. I have a dog Curly and two guinea pigs, but we need more pets if I’m going to learn to be a vet. Today, we had the best idea ever . . . We’re going to have a pet sleepover! Of course, there’s no need to tell our parents about it. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with having a few extra pets to stay?

The Defence Techniques teacher tests the girls on their survival skills, leaving them in the Forest of Colours overnight. They use a manual she has left them to build shelter and cook dinner. Electra wanders from the group in the night and gets lost, sending the rest of the Melowies on a mission to find her. They split up and use different skills to pass the test. Upon returning to Destino they learn that the missing Melowy was all part of the test of frienship. They all passed with flying colours, even with their rival Melowy Eris trying to foil their plans.
